The Community Foundation is a local independent charity originally set up to serve the City of York and North Yorkshire, and more recently expanding to serve East Yorkshire, Kingston upon Hull and the Humber area. We are committed to improving the quality of people's lives and helping to build stronger communities for future generations.  Through our wide understanding of local issues we:-

Encourage local giving for the lasting benefit of our communities;         Provide a unique service to donors wishing to invest in their communities and in the projects they value; Can make grants, give assistance, advice and support to local communities.
