Day 7

Day 7 Gilberdyke Fun Day

Gilberdyke & District Leisure Association & the Good Companions were joined by various other groups which use the playing fields to set up a community fun day.

The puppet show provided some of the entertainment for the day and I was pleased to be able to take lots of photos of a very appreciative audience.

Appropriately, I was proud as Punch to be given the honour of cutting the ribbon on the grasscutter which had been bought with a grant from thefoundation - I felt like royalty! (Wonder if the Queen have ever officially opened a lawnmower?)
